The Westmoor Club boasts 9 of the best clay courts in New England in addition to 3 of the only grass courts on the Island. Tennis play may begin at 8am and concludes by 6pm. Water stations are found on every court and a ball machine is available upon reservation.

As far as instruction we have some of the best in the Country. Our Head Racquets Professional Wayne Davies scours the circuit to find the best, most challenging instructors to help take your social or competitive game to the next level. We are happy to announce that in 2007 Max Lepivert, Jai Shetty and Angell Cobb will be returning for another awesome year.

Wayne Davies was born 1955 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. As a junior in college, Mr. Davies concentrated on football, but started playing squash and soon graduated into the State ranks. In the early 1980's, Mr. Davies played professionally in Europe, winning several major tournaments in southern France. While "Real Tennis" became the sport, Wayne was Australia's first Real Tennis World Champion from 1987 to 1994. In addition, over the past twenty years, Mr. Davies has been ranked either #1 or #2 in the World. Wayne built the Sydney Real Tennis Club in 1997. In 2005, Mr. Davies and his family moved back to Nantucket, in order to teach and run The Westmoor Club tennis program. Before coming to The Westmoor Club, Wayne was the Head Tennis Pro at The New York Racquet Club from 1982 to 1997.
