Fashion for a Cause
The Westmoor Club Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in this year's Fashion Luncheon. More than 100 women gathered to celebrate fashion, friendship, and philanthropy while helping support the Foundation's mission to advance health and wellness initiatives across the Nantucket community.
The Fashion Luncheon has long been one of the Club's signature traditions, with a charitable component benefiting deserving nonprofit organizations each year. Previous beneficiaries have included Our House, Boston MedFlight, and the Nantucket Community Music Center.
This year, proceeds from the event included a $2,500 contribution from ticket sales, along with a generous donation of a portion of retail sales from Marissa Collections, benefiting The Westmoor Club Foundation. These funds will directly support the Foundation's inaugural Health & Wellness Grant Program, which opens for applications on August 15 and will provide funding to Nantucket nonprofit organizations working to improve the well-being of the island community.
"We are incredibly grateful to the many Westmoor staff involved in this event and to the Fashion Luncheon Committee for their creativity, dedication, and countless hours of work in making this event such a tremendous success," said John Cowden, President of The Westmoor Club Foundation and General Manager of The Westmoor Club. "Their commitment to blending a beloved Club tradition with meaningful philanthropy will have a lasting impact, helping us invest in organizations that strengthen the health and wellness of the Nantucket community. We also thank everyone who attended and supported this wonderful event.
